Resizing changes a video's resolution, the number of pixels in each frame. Choose a standard size such as 1080p, 720p or 480p, a percentage, or an exact width, and the height follows so nothing looks stretched.
The video is re-encoded at the new size with a bitrate scaled to the new number of pixels, and the audio is copied unchanged. Video encoders need even dimensions, so sizes are rounded to the nearest even number.
